Project Insomnia

Project Insomnia is many things, but in this context it is simply a "braindump" of whatever I happen to be thinking/reading/watching/doing at the moment. Parental guidance suggested.

And now for something completely different: How not to be seen (updated)

Still not me

From The Seattle Times Food & Wine section: Oregon pours out fine Washington wines
The third member of this odd triumvirate is Andrew Rich, a self-proclaimed 'vinarchist' who makes wines very much in the David O'Reilly mode. Rich, who studied winemaking in Burgundy and apprenticed at Bonny Doon, is represented by Cavatappi Distribuzione. These new releases include some especially fine values; however, several will not be available until November.
I'm not the CUNY professor, either, even though I get several of his emails every week.

Pretty good so far

It's been almost two weeks since my last day at B&N. Since then, our kitchen has been demolished (on purpose!) and I've been feeling somewhat more rested. And been able to spend more evenings with Jen.

I'm watching an old Whose Line episode (TiVoed from ABC Family) and the "Narrate" scene reminds me of when (at B&N) I would strip magazines at the counter. In "Narrate" Ryan Stiles always starts off with this very deliberate, slow-jazz motion of whatever he's miming--flipping burgers in this case--and I would adopt the same kind of motion when stripping magazines, imagining the game's music.

Go A's!
