Virtual Dimension is a virtual desktop manager for Windows (2000 and XP). It blows the pants off the MSVDM PowerToy and it’s equally free (GPL). On the relatively small screen of my laptop, the ability to have multiple desktops is invaluable, and Virtual Dimension is a good and stable implementation.
