The A in Andrew is for my father's father, Arthur.
The M in Michael is for my mother's grandfather, Morris.
I've been told that "Rich" was originally "Reich" but that was changed when they emigrated.

Ok, so – My maternal grandfather (Mother’s Father, not her grandfather, though,) was “Maurice” but he pronounced it “Morris.”
